What do you get when you combine twine with batteries?

I love decorating for Fall.  With all the Christmas stuff being stocked, right now is the perfect time to buy Fall items for a fraction of the price!

My creation

My creation
Last weekend I was at Hobby Lobby and found these cute twine balls for 50% off.  I couldn't pass up a dollar item, so I grabbed two of them.

I added a little ribbon, battery operated lights, and hung them from my front porch.  They are absolutely beautiful, and cost under $5.00 each to make.  (that includes the batteries)

A few more ideas?  Add a wooden stick to the lit   twine, hang ribbon from them, and let your flower girls  carry them for a evening/outdoor wedding.

Or, stick them in the ground at an evening/outdoor wedding and let them light up your aisle!

Use more delicate lights for beautiful centerpieces or decor.  You can even paint different sizes, and hang them in a little girls room, or use them as centerpieces for a birthday party/wedding.

You really can't go wrong with these easy and inexpensive twine balls!
